ORDER
This writ petition is filed by the petitioner to permit the respondents to conduct the book release ceremony of the book, namely, Vaalvurimai Saasanam" as a memorial of Social Reformer, namely, Palanibaba @ Ahammed Ali on 16.02.2025 at Jannathul Firthouse Mini Hall located at Villapuram, Madurai or Sunnathul Val Jammad Pallivasal located at Melur Main Road, Mattuthavani, Madurai within the time stipulated by this Court and also to set aside the impugned order in C.No.3/AC AVPM/MC/Proceedings/2025, dated 27.01.2025 passed by the second respondent.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that since the prayer of 2/5
the petitioner is now restricted only to conduct the book release ceremony in the closed area, they have no objection to grant permission and will grant permission subject to other conditions.
3. In view of the above said representation of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the respondents to grant permission on 16.02.2025 to conduct book release ceremony at Sunnathul Val Jammad Pallivasal located at Melur Main Road, Mattuthavani, Madurai in accordance with law. The petitioner also undertakes that he will not create any law and order problem during the said book release ceremony.
4. Recording the submissions of the both sides and with the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
