O R D E R

This quash petition is filed to quash the criminal proceedings in C.C.No.38 of 2013 on the file of the Special Court (TNPID Court), Madurai against the petitioner. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that already, out of Rs.26,75,000/-, the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.10,70,500/- to the defacto complainant. Therefore, this Court find that there are no merits in the grounds raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner to quash the criminal proceedings against him. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings and the criminal original petition is liable to be dismissed.

3.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the personal appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court is dispensed with, except the dates of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

hearing, on which the learned Judge insisted the petitioner to appear before the Court. It is open to the petitioner to setlle the amount before the trial Court. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
