Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petition pertains to conducting of the petition mentioned festival. The petitioner is from Maviliyoothu Village. The temple is situated in Melakalangal Village.

3. The petitioner's group can celebrate the petition mentioned festival from 18.02.2023 till 9.30 a.m. on 19.02.2023. The petitioner can very well decorate the deity in the manner they deem fit. But they should vacate the premises strictly by 9.30 a.m. on 19.02.2023. Since as per the customary belief, decoration should not be disturbed for a 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.3043 OF 2023 period of 24 hours, the decoration will be done by 9.30 a.m. on 18.02.2023 itself. I expect both the parties to adhere to the understanding that is now arrived at before this Court.
