Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to rectify the clerical error in the document register book relating to Document No.1029 of 1955, Manapparai Sub-Registrar Office, by correcting the survey number from Survey No.29 to Survey No.201/1 and consequently direct the Respondents to issue a corrected certified copy of the said document to the petitioner by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 17.12.2025 within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to rectify the clerical error in the document register book relating to Document No.1029 of 1955, Manapparai Sub-Registrar Office, by correcting the survey number from Survey No.29 to Survey No.201/1 and to direct the respondents to issue a corrected certified copy of the said document to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.12.2025.

3. By consent on either sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation on 17.12.2025 to rectify the clerical error in the document register book relating to Document No.1029 of 1955, Manapparai Sub-Registrar Office, by correcting the survey number from Survey No.29 to Survey No.201/1 and also to issue a corrected certified copy of the said document to her. However, the same is yet to be considered. Hence, the Writ Petition.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be disposed within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.12.2025 and dispose of the same, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
