PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to restore or re-convey the land comprised in S.No.873/2C2A, measuring 3 acres and 80 cents, situated at Uthayathur Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, and to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2026.

This Writ Petition is filed directing the respondents to restore or re-convey the land comprised in S.No.873/2C2A, measuring 3 acres and 80 cents, situated at Uthayathur Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, and to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2026.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, the petitioner is the rightful owner of the land comprised in S.No.873/2C2A, measuring 3 acres and 2/6

80 cents, situated at Uthayathur Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. Thereafter, two individuals namely, Selvan and Sivasubramanian @ Subbu illegally trespassed into the petitioner's land and took possession of the property. When questioned, they criminally intimidated her. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 21.01.2026 requesting restoration of the land in her favour, but no action has been taken. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2026, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The second 3/6
