PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), to direct the respondents No.1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2025.

O R D E R

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the first and second respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2025.

2.According to the petitioner, he worked under the third respondent and thereafter, he resigned his job and joined duty with another company. Therefore, there is misunderstanding between the parties and due to the said motive, the third respondent lodged a complaint and the same was enquired. Again, the third respondent lodged another complaint and he was also threatened with dire consequence, thereby the petitioner sent a representation to the second respondent on 30.01.2025 and the same has not been considered. Hence, the present petition is filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first and second respondent would submit that the petitioner is working under the third respondent and thereafter, he resigned his job and joined another company and thereby dispute arose between the petitioner and the third Page No. 2 of 4

respondent. Based on the complaint given by the third respondent, they made an enquiry and closed the said complaint. Again, the third respondent lodged a complaint and the same is under enquiry. In the meanwhile, the petitioner sent a representation dated 30.01.2025 seeking police protection and the respondent police will dispose of the petition after enquiry.

4.Since the representation of the petitioner is under consideration by the second respondent, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of one week from the date of this order and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 5.With the aforesaid observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
