ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.07.2023.
2. Originally, the property in Survey No.388/96 was owned by Sri Ariya Vysya Samuga Seviga Trust. The trustee sold the property to one Ramesh and Balaji through a sale deed dated 08.09.1995, vide Document No.2424/1995. The said Ramesh and Balaji had executed a sale agreement in favour of the petitioner. When the sale deed was not executed, the petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.139 of 2018 on the file of the III Additional District Judge, Thiruchirappalli, for specific performance, and the same was allowed. Subsequently, the Court executed the sale deed in favour of the petitioner as Document No.4684 of 2020 dated 13.10.2020. Thereafter, the petitioner mutated the revenue records, and the patta was transferred in the name of the petitioner.
3. However, while digitizing the revenue records, the respondents wrongly entered the classification as "Sarkar Poromboke." Therefore, the petitioner is seeking rectification of the same as "Sarkar Manai." The second respondent / 2/4
District Revenue Officer is directed to consider the petitioner's request and rectify the mistake that occurred during digitization. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
