O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 06.12.2024 and 08.04.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that she has been in continuous and uninterrupted possession and enjoyment of a land measuring not less than 3 cents, comprised in Old Survey No.668 and New Survey No.2489, situated at Aavarampattai Village, Kalingapatti Revenue Village, Thiruvenkadam Taluk, Tenkasi District, for more than 50 years. As the petitioner claims entitlement to a free house site patta, she submitted representations dated 06.12.2024 and 08.04.2025. However, no orders have been passed on the said representations. Hence, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition. Page No. 2 of 5

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representations would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a period of twelve weeks.

5. Recording the above submissions and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 06.12.2024 and 08.04.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representations shall be disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The respondents shall afford a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all other interested parties before passing orders. No costs.
