ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.12.2017 and to measure the lands of the petitioner in S.No.279/7G and S.No.279/7H of Perunkondanviduthi Village, Pudukottai Taluk, Pudukottai District.

2.Heard Mr.K.N.Govardhanan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.According to the petitioner, he claims to be the owner of the property in S.Nos.279/7G and 279/7H, Perunkondanviduthi Village, Pudukottai Taluk, Pudukottai District. The petitioner filed an application dated 15.12.2017, before the respondent seeking to measure the property in S.No.279/7G and 279/7H. Since no action has been taken so far, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the application of the dated 15.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the interested parties, if any.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
