PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Muniyandi For Respondents 1 and 2 : Mr.R.Erottuchamy Government Advocate (Criminal Side)

ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members.

2.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would contend that the representation dated 04.10.2020 submitted by the petitioner was closed on 29.10.2020, since the present petitioner represented before the Inspector of Police that no further action need be taken on the complaint submitted by him.
