This writ petition is filed for issuance of writ of a mandamus directing the respondents to change the original date of birth as 29.01.1988 instead of 29.08.1987 in the petitioner's Matriculation Examination Mark Statement vide Certificate S.No.MAT.0046806 and Higher Secondary Course Certificate vide Certificate S.No.HSG 1546811 and also to change both her date of birth as 29.01.1988 and nationality as Srilankan in the Transfer Certificate issued to her.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner referring to various documents and the representations sent to the respondents in this regard by the petitioner has now submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.10.2017 in accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Court.

3. Having regard to the limited scope of prayer that is now sought for before this court by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to pass the following order :

" The respondents 1 and 5 are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.10.2017 on merits and in accordance with law after affording due opportunity to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order".

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
