O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner, wherein the petitioner is seeking for the disbursement of compensation in the light of Rule 12(4) Annexure-I of the Schedule as contemplated under the Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Rules, 1995.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents circulated the proceedings of the District Collector made in jP.g.vz;.830/2017/Mjp6, dated 15.03.2021. It is seen from this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.4358 of 2021 proceedings that the second respondent has recommended for the payment of 25% of the compensation amount to the tune of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) to the petitioner. Pursuant to the aforesaid proceedings, this amount will be paid to the petitioner.

3. In view of the above development, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition and the compensation amount determined by the second respondent through proceedings dated 15.03.2021 shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of two

(02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
