PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to directing the respondents no.1 to 3 to provide adequate Police Protection to the petitioners for their life and limb in light of the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Lata Singh Vs. State of U.P reported in 2006 (5) SCC 475 by considering the representation dated 04.01.2022, 06.01.2022 and 19.01.2022.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct respondents no.1 to 3 to provide adequate Police Protection to the petitioners for their life and limb in light of the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Lata Singh Vs. representation dated 04.01.2022, 06.01.2022 and 19.01.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the representation filed before the second respondent is pending.

3. Inview of the same, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry after issuing summons to the petitioner and the respondents 4 and 5 and dispose of the representation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
