PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.357 of 2007. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Kanagarajan For Respondents : Mr.R.Erottuchamy Government Advocate (Criminal Side)

ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the second respondent to file a final report in Crime No.357 of 2007. 2.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that the investigation in Crime No.357 of 2007 is underway and prayed for three months time to file a final report.

3.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the second respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report/referred charge sheet, as the case may be in Crime No.357 of 2007, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order.
