... Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of habeas corpus, to call for records in H.S. (M).Confdl.No.15 of 2021, dated 29.01.2021 and issue a writ, order or direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Habeas Corpus or any other order or direction, directing the respondents herein to produce the detenu namely Jayamurugan, S/o. Veeraperumal, aged about 45 years, who has been termed as "Goonda" and now confined in Central Prison, Palayamkottai and set aside the same and set the detenu at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the wife of the detenu, namely, Jayamurugan, S/o. Veeraperumal, aged about 45 years, challenging the detention order in H.S.(M).Confdl.No.15 of 2021, dated 29.01.2021, passed by the second respondent, branding him as "Goonda" as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would state that the detention order impugned in this Habeas Corpus Petition has been revoked. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. Recording the above submission, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
