ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehended arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 498(A) I.P.C., and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Harassment of Women Act, in Crime No.Not Known of 2015, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. Heard Mr.D.Selvanayagam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.A.P.Balasubramani, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that on 05.01.2016, when the matter came up for hearing, it was represented by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) that petition enquiry was pending and hence this Court granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners on condition that the petitioners 1 and 2 should report before the respondent Police daily at 10.30 a.m., and the 3rd petitioner should report before the respondent Police as and when required for interrogation.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) has submitted that on the

complaint lodged by the de facto complainant, the respondent Police has conducted enquiry and closed the same for want of of territorial jurisdiction.

5. In view of the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this criminal original petition is closed with liberty to the petitioners to workout their remedy in the manner known to law.
