Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 22.01.1994, 20.09.2005, 26.04.2007, 18.04.2017 and to appoint the petitioner under compassionate ground in the Respondents department as suitable for the qualification of the petitioner within a stipulated period prescribed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondent to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground, by considering his representation.

2.The claim, seeking appointment on compassionate ground, originated as early as on 22.01.1994 making representation by his mother and subsequently, after the petitioner attained majority, he submitted several representations and finally on 18.04.2017 and since the same have not been considered for quite a long time, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.The learned Counsel for petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to the communication dated 26.05.2007, wherein it has been observed that the case of the petitioner is under consideration.

4.Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.04.2017, on merits and in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
