ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner's wife Gandhimathi was employed in the Transport Department as Assistant. She passed away on 14.07.2013.

The petitioner as the dependent applied for appointment on compassionate ground.

The application was submitted within time.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that all the preliminary formalities are already over. The file is presently pending with the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The second respondent is directed to forward the proposal to the first respondent and the first respondent shall consider the petitioner's application for compassionate appointment on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
