Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying this Hon'ble Court to direct the Learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, (Special Court for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes), (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Dindigul District to accept the surrender of the Petitioners and consider the Petitioners bail application on the date of surrender itself in Crime No.170 of 2017, dated 29.07.2017 on the file of the 2nd Respondent.

O R D E R

This Criminal Miscellaneous petition has been filed to extend the time granted to the petitioners in Crl.O.P(MD) No.10214 of 2017 in the order dated 04.08.2017.

2. This Court by order dated 04.08.2017, granted two weeks time to the petitioners to surrender before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge (Special Judge for SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989), Dindigul, to consider the bail application of the petitioners in connection with Cr.No.170 of 2017. Stating that the petitioners could not appear within the time stipulated by this Court due to health reasons and other circumstances, the present petition is filed.

3. Upon satisfied with the reasons stated by the petitioners for non-compliance of the terms, this Court is inclined to allow this petition and the time granted earlier in the order order 04.08.2017 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.10214 of 2017 is extended by another period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed accordingly.
