Respondents Prayer : This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order of the second respondent made in the order No.UXP/535/V.R/R.V dated 01.08.2016 to quash the same and to consequently direct the respondents to appoint petitioner's son with reference to petitioner's medical invalidation in all medical classification.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner is a retired railway employee. When he was in service, he gave an application seeking voluntary retirement and to grant compassionate appointment in favour of his son. The said application was returned.

3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submits that if the petitioner submits an application with relevant service particulars, the same would be considered on merits and in accordance with law and orders will be passed within a period of two months thereafter.

4.Recording the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
