Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to conduct survey in the petitioner's land in S.Nos.18/2C1, 93 Vadakarai Revenue Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District to the extent of 7-76.50 hectares as per the petitioner's application dated 24.12.2024.

ORDER

Though the writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to conduct a survey, since the respondent has not taken any action on the petitioner's application dated 24.12.2024, today when the writ petition is taken up for admission, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent has already fixed a date for conducting the survey on 25.02.2025, based on the petitioner's application dated 24.12.2024.

2.Recording the said submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of. It is made clear that the petitioner shall co-operate with the survey authorities on the date of survey, namely, 25.02.2025. The respondent shall conduct the survey and file a survey report to the petitioner subject to any payment that may be requisite charges in that regard, within a period of four weeks thereafter.
