The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 329(4), 115(2) and 351(2) of BNS, 2023, in Crime No.69 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl. side) submitted that it is a case and case in counter. In the present case crime number was assigned as Crime No.69 of 2026. The petitioners given complaint against other persons who attacked the petitioners, that has been registered in Crime No.70 of 2026. However, he further submitted that the offences are bailable offences. Hence, this Court cannot grant anticipatory bail.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the other side has brutally attacked the petitioners. Initially they were taking treatment and subsequently they were admitted in SRM Hospital for further treatment. The petitioners have done 2/4

sting operation to find out illegal mining.

4. The said statement is recorded. However, since the offences are bailable offences, the petitioners are directed to approach the respondent police and submit an application. In such a case, the respondent police shall consider for granting station bail on the same day.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
