Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records connected with the impugned order, dated 05.02.2021 issued by the respondent No.4 and quash the same as illegal consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as a VAO as per G.O.(MS).No.70 of 2019, dated 25.02.2019 which will benefit the public at large, in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order, dated 05.02.2021 issued by the respondent No.4 and consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as VAO as per G.O.(MS).No.70 of 2019, dated 25.02.2019.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner has been appointed as Field Assistant. 2/4

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents also submitted that the petitioner is drawing a salary of Rs.50,000/- per month in the post of Field Assistant.

4.In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication. Hence, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 15.04.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes PNM
