Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey, sub-divide, measure, demarcate and to fix the four boundaries of the petitioner's share of property more fully described in O.S.No.180/2018, dated 23.01.2019 on the file of the 6th Additional District Court, Madurai District property situated in Survey No.33-2C1, 96 3⁄4 cents in Poonchuthy Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District and for issue of separate patta within the time limit that may be fixed by this court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 18.09.2019, wherein the petitioner has sought for survey of the subject property and for subdivision by demarcating and fixing the boundaries.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the application given by the petitioner was considered and the subdivision has been done and a separate patta has also been issued in favour of the petitioner in patta No.1786 for S.No.33/2C1C.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondents are yet to survey the property and fix the boundaries and therefore, necessary directions may be issued to the respondents to carry out the said process within the time fixed by this Court.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the petitioner has already been issued a separate patta for the subdivided property, there shall be a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to conduct the survey in the subject property and fix the boundaries. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
