O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.12.2025.

A perusal of the representation reveals that such a representation has been addressed to the second respondent, wherein, a request has been made to conduct a survey to find out whether the Survey No.120 in Krishnapuram Village, Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District is a public road/approach road for the layout already formed by the petitioner in Survey Nos.730/2E, 731/2C2, 742/1, 742/2C2 in Muttur Village, Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District. Since the representation of the petitioner cannot be considered by the 2/5

Tahsildar without conducting a survey, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:

(i) The second respondent is directed to conduct a survey with the help of Surveyor in the presence of the writ petitioner and sent a communication to the writ petitioner as to the fact whether the Survey No.120 in Krishnapuram Village, Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District is a public road or not. (ii) The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
