2.By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner is working as Chief Civil Surgeon (Specialist) at Government Hospital, Aranthangi, Pudukottai District. The petitioner was visited with an order of punishment. The same has been questioned by him by filing an appeal before the first respondent on 16.12.2014. The petitioner gave a reminder also recently on 06.02.2018. The petitioner is constrained to move this Court since he is reaching the age of superannuation shortly.

4.The first respondent is therefore directed to dispose of the appeal petition filed by the petitioner on 16.12.2014 on or before 16.03.2018.
