Complainant PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), to direct the respondent police to conduct the investigation and to file the final report connection with the Crime No.6 of 2024 on the file of the 2nd respondent police before the concerned Court within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

O R D E R
This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to conduct the investigation and to file a final report in connection with the Crime No.6 of 2024 on the file of the 2nd respondent police before the concerned Court within the stipulated time fixed by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, based on his complaint, a case has been registered in Crime No.6 of 2024 for the offence under Sections 406, 465, 468 and 420 IPC against the accused persons. After registering the case, the respondent police has not conducted proper investigation and the investigation is pending and so far and they have not filed charge sheet. Hence, the present petition is filed.
3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint, a case has been registered and the same is under investigation and the offences are arising out of records and therefore, there is a delay in obtaining the documents. However, the respondent police will complete the investigation within a period of two months.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer in the petition and also the nature of the offence and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a charge sheet, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and no further time will be granted.
5.With the aforesaid observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
