ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose the petitioner's Revision in Na.Ka.T3E-4127945/2025, on the file of the first respondent, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the second respondent, notice to the second respondent is hereby dispensed with.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the subject property is ancestral in nature and has been in the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner's family. However, the second respondent filed an application before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Illuppur, seeking to cancel the Patta in the petitioner's name. Based on that application, and without considering the oral and documentary evidence produced by the petitioner, the Patta in the petitioner's name was cancelled vide proceedings dated 20.12.2023. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred a revision before the first respondent in

Na.Ka.T3E-4127945/2025. Since the revision has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that the petitioner's revision will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's revision, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the second respondent and any other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
