ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for an alleged offence punishable under Section 307 of Indian Penal Code in Crime No.8 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is the case of the prosecution that this petitioner got married to the victim on 12.06.2014 and was living with her. On 29.10.2014, the petitioner's wife left his company and came to her mother's house. It is alleged that on 05.01.2015, this petitioner went to the house of his wife's grandfather and called his wife out. When she came out, he took out a knife which was hiding and started attacking his wife and when his mother-in-law came to ask about the same, she was also attacked. Both of them had suffered serious injuries on their neck and they have admitted in the hospital.

3. Taking into consideration the nature of the attack perpetrated by the petitioner, I am of the opinion that it is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, even if the injured were discharged from the hospital.
