The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue Death Certificate for the petitioner's mother, namely, 1/4

Petchiammal, by considering the petitioner's application dated 12.08.2024.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of the death certificate of his mother. Hence, he submitted an application before the respondents on 12.08.2024. However, no action has been taken by the respondents till date. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents would submit that the petitioner's application would be considered in accordance with law.

4. This Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 12.08.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
