ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner and his wife.

2.The main grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner lodged a complaint with the second respondent seeking for police protection to him on the ground that the private respondents tress-pass into his property and also attempted to evict from his property, no action has been taken by the respondent police, till date.

3.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would contend that the representation submitted by the petitioner was registered in C.S.R. No.45 of 2021 and it is pending for enquiry.

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent is directed to dispose of C.S.R.No.45 of 2021, based on findings and on merits, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice and sufficient opportunity to the respondents 3 to 12.

5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
