O R D E R This petition is filed seeking direction to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.112 of 2016 from the file of the Inspector of Police, Traffic Investigation Wing, Tirunelveli City to the file of the Inspector of Police, C.B.C.I.D Tirunelveli City.

2. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that it is not an accident and the occurrence was caused by one vehicle, which was coming in the opposite side. He further submitted that CCTV footage is available in the occurrence place and the same was informed to the second respondent police on several times, but the second respondent has not taken any steps to seize the CCTV footage. On that ground, this petition has been filed.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation is going on in a proper manner and entire investigation will be completed by the second respondent police within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Considering the above submission, the second respondent is directed to visit the place of occurrence and recover the CCTV footage if any found near place of occurrence and complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
