ORDER

This Petition has been filed by the petitioner on 13.02.2025 praying to modify the condition imposed upon him in the bail order dated 25.11.2024 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.20500 of 2024.

2. Mr.K.Suyambulingabharathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that on 11.12.2024, at about 11.00 a.m., when the petitioner was proceeding towards Thanjavur Road, his vehicle was intercepted by some unknown persons. However, the petitioner managed to escape from the attack. Thereafter, the petitioner 1/4

lodged a complaint before the Inspector of Police, Pattukottai Police Station for taking necessary action. The petitioner reasonably apprehends that he has a potential life threat in Thajavur District. He further submits that, subsequent to the said event, the petitioner was arrested in connection with Crime No.26 of 2025 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Moolakkaraipatti Police Station. In the said case, bail was granted to the petitioner by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2048 of 2025 subject to the condition that the petitioner shall report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders and the petitioner has also complied with the said condition. In view of the facts and circumstances, the petitioner is facing difficulty to comply with the condition of this Court in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.20500 of 2024 dated 25.11.2024. Accordingly, he prays to modify the condition imposed by this Court in the bail order dated 25.11.2024 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.20500 of 2024.

3. Mr.S.S.Manoj, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submits that petitioner has signed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai only for a period of 2 days. He also submits that charge sheet has been filed in the present case.

4. In view of the facts and circumstances, this Court modifies the condition No.8 (b) in the bail order dated 25.11.2024 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.20500 2/4

of 2024 as follows:

'The petitioner shall appear and sign before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri on all working days at 10.00 a.m. and 05.00 p.m., until further orders.'
