Respondents Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to direct the respondents to provide police protection to the life and property to an extent of 2138 sq. feet situated in Karur District in T.S.No.872 of the petitioner and his family members pursuant to the judgment and decree dated of this court in S.A.No.721 of 2006, dated 20.12.2012 on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner, dated 20.01.2015.

O R D E R

The petitioner filed this petition seeking direction to the respondents to provide police protection to the life and the property of the petitioner, comprised in T.S.No.872 to an extent of 2138 sq. feet, in Karur District and her family members pursuant to the judgment and decree of this court in S.A.No.721 of 2006, dated 20.12.2012, on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner, dated 20.01.2015. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for State. 3.As the claim of the petitioner for police protection is supported by decision of courts and she enjoys an order of permanent injunction against the interference passed in O.S.No.76 of 1999 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Karur, which position has been taken note of in dismissal of the action in S.A.No.

721 of 2006 by this court on 20.12.2012 and in favour of the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the second respondent police to consider the representation, if any presented by the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if necessary, afford police protection in accordance with law at the cost of the petitioner.
