ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.12.2017 and issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the lands in old Survey No.411 and New survey No.115/2 to an extent of 38 cents in North Manamelkudi, Mumbalai Revenue Village, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukottai District. 2.According to the petitioner, originally, the property measuring to an extent of 38 cents in Survey No.411 and New survey No.115/2 in North Manamelkudi, Mumbalai Revenue Village, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukottai District was purchased by the petitioner's father one Muthu Ambalam and after his demise, the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the property. In the above circumstances, the petitioner filed an application dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

18.12.2017 before the Commissioner of Land Administration seeking to issue patta in favour of the petitioner which was in turn forwarded to the first respondent directing him to consider the application of the petitioner. Thereafter, no order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the Commissioner of Land Administration already directed the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
