Heard Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondent. 2.By consent of both the parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

years have gone by the disciplinary action is yet to be concluded. As a result, his chances of promotion have been totally stalled. 5.The respondent is not justified in keeping the disciplinary action pending for so long.

6.Therefore, the respondent is directed to conclude the disciplinary action initiated against the petitioner vide charge memo dated 29.09.2008 on or before 31.06.2018. 7.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
