Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the second respondent culminating in his impugned order Tha.Pa.S.1/03/2018 dated 11.1.2018 and quash the same and consequently restrain the respondents herein from demanding excess stamp duty and registration fee. 2.Earlier, when the matter is taken up for admission on 21.02.2018, this Court ordered notice to the respondents. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that already the second respondent passed an order dated 19.02.2018 itself and also produced a copy of the order.
3.In the above circumstances, since already enquiry was over and the order has been passed, the prayer sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, if the petitioner has any grievance over the order passed by the second respondent, it is always open to him to challenge the same, in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
