RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time granted to appear before the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur Madurai and furnishing surities in Crl.O.P(MD). No.8442 of 2016 dated 10.6.2016.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S A.V.ARUN, Advocate for the petitioners and of MR.K.ANBARASAN Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the Respondent the court made the following order:- This Petition is filed to extend the time granted to the petitioners in Crl.OP(MD)No.8442 of 2016, dated 10.06.2016.
2. This Court, by order dated 10.06.2016 made in Crl.OP(MD) No.8442/2016 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners and directed the petitioners to appear before the concerned Magistrate, within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy was made ready. However, the petitioners did not comply with conditions, within the time prescribed by this Court. Hence, they have approached this Court with the present petition for extension of time.
3. This learned Counsel for the petitioners contended that the petitioners could not produce the sureties within the time prescribed by this Court and hence, he prays for extension of time. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side).
