ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A-2 apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 279, 337, 353, 332, 294(b), 506(ii) and 379 of IPC and 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act 1957, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were said to have illegally transported 25 bags of river sand by using TATA SUMO Vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-27J-1725. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

CRL OP(MD). No.3164 of 2021 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submits that the total quantity of sand involved is 25 bags and the same was recovered by the respondent police. In presence of the witnesses, observation mahazar has been drawn as well as the confession statement of the accused also been recorded. The photograph of the river sand stocked in the vehicle has been produced. 5.In view of the same, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this petition stands dismissed.
