ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute and not to harass the petitioner and his family members in the guise of enquiry.
2. According to the petitioner, there is a money dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents no.3 and 4, thereby the private respondents have lodged a false complaint as against the petitioner for the money dispute. Taking advantage of the same, the 2nd respondent called the petitioner frequently for enquiry. Since the matter is pertaining to money dispute, the respondent police have no jurisdiction to enquire the complaint. Hence, he filed this petition.
3. The Government Advocate (Criminal) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that based on the complaint given by the respondents no.3 and 4 in respect of payment of money, they called the petitioner for enquiry. However, they will complete the enquiry within one week and dispose the complaint in accordance with law.
4. Since the respondents no.3 and 4 gave a complaint as against the 2/4
petitioner before the 2nd respondent and the 2nd respondent has also conducting enquiry, it is appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry within one week from the date of this order. Accordingly ordered.
5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
