ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to re-issue a passport to the petitioner, based on the application dated 04.11.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the second respondent brought to the notice of this Court that a criminal case is pending against the petitioner in Crime No.307 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent police.

3. The petitioner has filed Crl.O.P(MD).No.20198 of 2024 before this Court seeking to quash the above FIR and the matter was referred to the mediation centre and pending medication, the investigation has been stayed.

4. Considering the nature of allegations in the FIR and the fact that so far charge sheet has not been filed before the concerned trial Court, the first respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
