PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records in Cr.M.P.No.341 of 2014 in Cr.M.P.No.3985 of 2012 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Dindigul and quash the same. For Petitioner : No appearance

O R D E R

This petition is filed to call for the records in Cr.M.P.No.341 of 2014 in Cr.M.P.No.3985 of 2012 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Dindigul and quash the same. 2.When the matter was posted for admission 12.03.2014, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner took adjournment and the same was posted on 19.03.2014. Thereafter, more than four occasions, when the matter was listed, the learned counsel for the petitioner took adjournments only. Therefore, the matter is pending for the past 4 years without even ordering notice or admitting by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner herein. It seems that the petitioner has no interest to proceed with the matter, further. More over, the case is of the year 2014.Therefore, this Court is of the view that the pendency of this criminal original petition would not serve for any purpose.

4.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
