This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd Respondent to provide adequate Police Protection to the Petitioner on the basis of the Petitioner's representation, dated 03.02.2024. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the representation given by the petitioner, the respondent police have conducted enquiry and closed the same, since the dispute is between the father/petitioner and his children. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication.
3.Considering the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass orders without issuing notice to the private respondents.
4.Since the representation of the petitioner was already considered and closed by the respondent police, no further orders are required to be passed. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the 1st 2/4
respondent for seeking appropriate remedy under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, in the manner known to law.
