Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to direct the Respondents 1 and 2 and his officials not to harass the Petitioner and her family members to yield to the false demand of the third Respondent and further not to interfere in the money dispute. ORDER
The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner had filed this Criminal Original Petition seeking direction against the Respondent Police not to harass the Petitioner on the pretext of enquiry, based on the complaint of the third Respondent.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on instructions of the Respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the Petitioner had borrowed some money from the third Respondent and the matter involves money dispute. The learned Government Advocate also undertakes to follow the guidelines issued by the Director General of Police, Head of State Police Force, Tamil Nadu. He would further submit that the Respondent Police will close the current paper within two weeks.
3. In the light of the submissions of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the Respondent Police is directed not to harass the Petitioner based on the complaint of the third Respondent. The Respondents 1 and 2 are directed to act as per the circular 2/4
issued by the Director General of Police, Head of State Police Force, Tamil Nadu, directing the Field Officers not to entertain the complaints regarding money dispute and property dispute.
