ORDER

The petitioner approaches this Court with a prayer to direct the first respondent to withdraw the Crime No.495/2011 on the file of the second respondent and transfer the same to 3rd respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the State and also perused the materials available on record.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the case has been registered in the year 2011 and pending investigation for nearly four years and no substantial progress has been made. 4.Considering the same, a direction is issued to the second respondent to conclude the investigation within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent will have to send summons and take statement from the petitioner since the learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner has not been enquired. Further, taking note of the long pendency of the investigation, the first respondent is directed to monitor the same. 5.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
