ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to assign land on cost basis in favour of the petitioner relating to S.No.180/3, Viralimalai Village, Viralimalai Taluk, Pudukottai District.
2.According to the petitioner, he is in possession and enjoyment of the Government poramboke land in S.No.180/3, Viralimalai Village, Viralimalai Taluk, Pudukottai District. Subsequently, the petitioner has made an application dated 13.12.2017 before the second respondent seeking assignment of the land on cost basis. Based on his application, the second respondent directed the third respondent to file a report. During the pendency of the above proceedings, now according to the petitioner, the third respondent is taking steps to assign the land in favour of some third parties hence the writ petition.
3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the second respondent has already initiated proceedings, the second respondent is directed to consider https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the application of the petitioner dated 13.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
