Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the entire records of the impugned proceedings of the first respondent in Letter No.012830/100/G33/G332/2018-1 dated 17.02.2018 and to quash the same in so far as the allotment of circle to the petitioner in Udumalpet EDC is concerned and consequently to direct the first respondent to issue allotment order to the petitioner for the post of Administrative Supervisor in Electricity Distribution Circle Madurai or any other circle in Madurai Region within the time limit.

*********** Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent Nos. 1 to 3.
2. The petitioner is an employee in Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited, as an Assistant. By impugned order dated 17.02.2018, she has been promoted to the post of Administrative Supervisor and allotted to Udumulpet EDC.
3. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a female and then therefore, this Court should sympathetically consider her case.
4. Per contra the Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent No.1 to 3 pointed out that the petitioner has been transferred only on account of promotion. He also submitted that if at the instance of the petitioner, an interference is made in the impugned order, it will disturb the entire proceedings by which many persons have been granted promotion and also postings in various places.
5. This Court finds force in the said submission of the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 to 3. The impugned order is therefore not interfered with.
6. However as rightly pointed out by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the official respondents have issued guidelines dated 03.01.2002, dealing with posting on promotion. The petitioner has also given a representation in this regard on 18.01.2018. The said representation shall be considered by the first respondent and an order shall be passed by the first respondent on or before 30.04.2018.
7. With this direction, the Writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
