This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.01.2018 seeking to issue free house-site patta in Thirupparankundram Taluk and its surroundings Nilayoor, Srinivasa Colony and East Taluk, Sakkimangalam in Madurai District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.According to the petitioners, the petitioners are belonging to Hindu Sourashtra community and they are working as hand-loom weavers and coolies and they are living in below the poverty line. In the above circumstances, the petitioners filed an application dated 17.01.2018 seeking free house-site patta to the petitioners before the first respondent. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.01.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
