This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to furnish the petitioner's unique CPS account number and to provide the complete account statement of the contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) based on the representation dated 01.01.2025.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 & 6 and the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent and perused the materials available on record.
3.The grievance of the petitioner raised in this writ petition is with regard to non-furnishing of the petitioner's unique Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) account number and the complete statement of the same based on the representation dated 01.01.2025.
4. Considering the grievance of the petitioner and the facts and circumstances of the case, in the considered opinion of this Court, instead of keeping pending this writ petition years together, it is appropriate to dispose of the same at the admission stage itself with consent of both parties.
5. Accordingly, without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 4 and 5 to consider the representation dated 01.01.2025 of the petitioner and furnish information sought in the said representation to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
