O R D E R

The petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide necessary police protection to the temple, i.e. Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Thirukovil, situated at Odaipatti, Uthammapalayam, Theni District, during the conduct of the festival from 17th February to 19th February 2015 (three days).

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that towards conduct of temple festival at Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Thirukovil, situated at Odaipatti, Uthammapalayam, Theni District, between 17.02.2015 and 19.02.2015, representation stands made to the respondents https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ under communication dated 27.01.2015.

3.On instructions, the learned Government Advocate would submit that the respondents would afford necessary police protection as prayed for.

4.In the circumstances, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed by directing the second respondent to provide necessary police protection for the conduct of the festival at Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Thirukovil, situated at Odaipatti, Uthammapalayam, Theni District between 17.02.2015 and 19.02.2015.
